Kara Rose PR shortlisted for three awards

Chorley-based public relations agency Kara Rose PR has been shortlisted for three awards at the 2013 CIPR North West PRide Awards.

As the only public relations agency in Lancashire to be shortlisted the company, which was established in 2006, has beaten off stiff competition from fellow agencies in the North West and will now go head to head in the Best Community Relations, Best Public Sector and Best External Publication categories.

The company which is headed by Kara Rose, is a full service public relations agency, with business to business and consumer clients across the UK covering a broad range of sectors, including QMH Hotels, Park Inn by Radisson, Specialised Cleaning Services, Real Results Training and the Enterprise Vision Awards.

The project shortlisted in two categories (Public Sector and Community Relations) is the community energy switching project, People Power, which the agency conducted on behalf of Lancashire County and district borough councils. The high impact, strategic campaign involved targeting residents across Lancashire in an intensive six-week campaign utilising all tools in the mix to raise awareness of the inaugural collective energy switch scheme.

The agency has also been shortlisted in the Best External Publication category for Your Village Life magazine; the high-end property and lifestyle magazine produced for its long standing estate agency client, Petty’s.

Managing director Kara Rose said: “This is the first time we have entered the CIPR Pride Awards and to get three out of three entries into the final is a huge coup for us as the awards really are the benchmark of excellence in our industry.
