Join the Blackburn College board of governors and audit committee

Blackburn College is currently looking to appoint to its Board of Governors and Audit Committee.

The college, which is based in the heart of Blackburn town centre, is searching for appropriate individuals to join either as a full member of the board and audit committee or as a co-opted members of the audit committee.

Blackburn College is looking for individuals who have demonstrable ability to contribute to its strategic direction as the largest Further Education provider in Pennine Lancashire and one of the largest providers of Higher Education for a College in England.

Jean Tracy, clerk to the corporation at Blackburn College, said: “The individuals we are looking for will have the commitment and desire to ensure success for the College and its students. In particular, we would be pleased to hear from people with skills and expertise in business, risk management, finance and assurance.”
