Founder and director of Preston-based Kersey Hairdressing, John Kersey has been elected as the chair of the Lancashire branch of the Institute of Directors. He brings with him decades of business leadership experience, having successfully sold his first chain of salons in 1993.
The Lancashire branch of the IoD has grown to around 300 members across the region, representing a variety of industries. Through its events and resources it provides an extensive network of guidance and opportunities for the region’s business leaders.
John will be responsible for leading the committee’s work to drive membership growth, ensure business leaders are represented and supported at a regional level.

As an active IoD member for over three years, his passion and vision for the region’s business landscape will be of great benefit to our members.
