JM Glendinning expands into Lancashire

Leeds based insurance broker JM Glendinning has expanded into the North West and appointed Matthew Stuttard as managing director of its newly formed business.

Matthew joins from Towergate where he was sales director. Prior to that, Matthew led Swinton Commercial’s regional network. For his new role, he will be based in Blackburn.

Nick Houghton, JM Glendinning group managing director, said: “Matthew’s personality and background is a perfect fit for us.

“Matthew’s business will be our ninth business and eighth regional office, which puts us firmly on track to hit £50m Gross Written Premium over the next three years, having just gone through £37m last month.
