James’ Places announces partnership with law firm Shoosmiths

James’ Places, a boutique hotel and wedding venue operator headquartered in Clitheroe has announced Shoosmiths as its main legal partner. 

Shoosmiths, an award-winning UK law firm with 134 offices across the United Kingdom, acted on the group’s recent multi-million-pound re-financing package with Barclays. They are now working on an acquisition target to support with the group’s expansion plan. 

Bowland Inns & Hotels Limited, t/a James’ Places, owns and operates an eclectic collection of venues in the Ribble Valley, Lune Valley and the Yorkshire Dales, boasting a portfolio of 8 sites with an ambitious expansion and acquisition strategy. 

James Warburton, managing director of James’ Places, commented: “We were delighted with the support that Shoosmiths provided during the re-financing deal with Barclays. We are confident that they will be a great addition to our team and provide the appropriate legal advice to help us achieve our expansion plans.
