IoD appoints new North West regional director

The Institute of Directors (IoD) in the North West has appointed Rachel Smith as regional director for the North West.

She said: “I strongly believe in the work that the IoD does and have been impressed with the support it offers to the local business community.

Tony Attard, chairman of the IoD in the North West, said: “The IOD is working hard to encourage the highest levels of performance in North West directors. Our mission is to promote better business, better directors and a better economy. "After interviewing some extremely professional candidates, we are very pleased to have secured someone of Rachel’s calibre to head up our operation. Her experience is a perfect fit for the role and I have no doubt that her skill set will add to our already experienced team.”
