The year also saw the Kirkham-based business complete acquisitions of Flexible Energy Management Limited, Churchcom Limited and Horizon Energy Group Limited, which the board reported were all trading in line with expectations.
In addition, Gordon Oliver has been appointed as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect. He is the group finance director of James Halstead plc, a position he has held since 1999.
Michael Fletcher, non-executive chairman, said: "Gordon has extensive quoted company experience having guided the development of James Halstead plc to a market capitalisation in excess of £875 million during his tenure. "The board looks forward to benefitting from the knowledge and experience he will bring as we work towards another year of significant growth and development."
