Iced celebrates record year, launch of new department and charity success

The Iced team held a fun-filled client day, to launch its new marketing, copywriting, events and PR department and raise money for Derian House.

Kev (the boss!), the Iced team and attendees had a great time at their recent client day. It was the perfect opportunity to have a long-overdue get together to thank their valued clients face-to-face, formally launch their Marketing, Copywriting, Events and PR department and raise valuable funds for their corporate charity; the incredible Derian House, Children’s Hospice!

The fun-filled and action packed day commenced with teams battling for pole position at TeamSport Karting, Preston. Three fast and furious drivers from each of the four races celebrated by taking home fancy Iced trophies and limited edition (woo!) Iced merchandise. Others who sadly came last (sorry Josh Vosper from Inspire!) took home the wooden spoon!

Chorley FC (where Iced are proud to be the official design partner) laid out a delicious spread at their plush 1883 lounge, which can’t be recommended enough for a great local event space with top-notch food and service. Iced guests enjoyed food, drinks, lots of fun competitions with fab prizes and entertainment. Woodchats Coffee Shop, Chorley supplied their branded Iced cakes, which went down a treat on the yummy desert table!

Kev, Iced director, said: “Although we pride ourselves on having close relationships with our valued clients; in our digital world, we don’t always see each other face-to-face very often. I felt it was the right time to meet up, hold an enjoyable fun-filled day , show our appreciation for our customers’ loyalty to Iced over the last 6+ years and raise valuable funds for our corporate charity Derian House, Children’s Hospice.”

“Myself and Alex (Iced marketing director and my older twin sister…by a whole 10 minutes!) first started raising valuable funds for them, when we planned and held a Bring-and-Buy Sale, way back when Derian House opened in 1993!

"Organising events and PR was obviously in our blood, as we were only 10 years old but we were lucky enough to be invited to their official opening. Derian House really is an incredibly magical place and every single penny will help the extremely deserving children, their families, carers and all the brilliant team to create priceless memories."

Iced are proud to support local charities & organisations who constantly give back but often don't get the recognition they deserve. Derian House is a prime example of this. It’s such an inspirational place that puts a smile on so many deserving faces. Iced fundraising total to date is £1200 (some of their clients kindly donated directly to Derian House too) and the Iced team will keep going throughout 2020...
