i-motion launches £1.2m gym
Blackburn-based i-motion has launched a £1.2m low cost gym - its first in a planned chain of outlets across to be opened across the north of England over the next two years.

i-motion was founded by Gareth Evans, a former professional rugby player with Lazio RUFC in Rome.
He said: “Having worked in the health sector for some years following my retirement from rugby it became apparent that there was a real gap in the market for a premium, low cost gym operator that matched the quality of the more upmarket brands. “We’ve developed an offer that will have broad appeal and offers ultimate flexibility. Our gyms will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and feature high quality Matrix equipment, over 80 classes a week, contemporary décor and most importantly, have a low cost monthly fee, with no contract.”
