Hundreds of Lancashire businesses gather at lovelocalexpo

More than 400 business people from across Lancashire attended the fifth annual lovelocal business expo, which took place in Burnley.

Showcasing their products and services was more than 50 red rose county organisations, representing a wide variety of sectors, including media partner Lancashire Business View.

In addition to the opportunity to network and discover new companies, delegates were also able to take advantage of seminars delivered by local experts. Topics included cyber security, mental health, increasing sales and business support and funding.

A fast and furious 'speed networking' session was offered at lunchtime and BBC Radio Lancashire broadcasted live from the event for the fifth year running.

Rachel Kay, director of lovelocalnetworking and organiser of lovelocalexpo, said: "The venue, Impact Conferencing in Burnley, was buzzing! The feedback from visitors and exhibitors alike has been excellent.

"We'd like to thank our venue, speakers, sponsors and partners including Lancashire Business View and are looking forward to welcoming everyone back on 29 April 2020."
