HPA is proud to have pledged its commitment to the Lancaster District Fair Work Charter, the new initiative led by Lancaster City Council to promote fairness, opportunity, and good employment practices across the district.
By signing up, HPA affirms their support for the Charter’s principles, including secure employment, fair pay, staff wellbeing, equality, and opportunities for professional development.
As an employer rooted in the Lancaster and Morecambe district for more than 40 years, HPA recognise the importance of creating a workplace where people feel valued, respected, and able to develop their careers.
The Charter reflects and reinforces the commitments they already uphold across the practice – supporting staff growth, offering flexible working, maintaining transparent processes, and fostering a supportive, inclusive culture.
During an event held at the Ashton Memorial in Lancaster and attended by the first cohort of members and representatives from Lancaster City Council, HPA were delighted to be presented with a certificate acknowledging their place as one of the first organisations to join the Lancaster District Fair Work Charter.
This recognition highlights the work already undertaken within the practice and ongoing dedication to continuous improvement.
HPA's participation in the Charter underscores their commitment to be a responsible employer that invests in its people and its community.
