Lancashire house builder Prospect Homes has sold out its latest development.
Every one of the collection of 54 three and four-bedroom homes on Orrell Lane beside the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in Bridhemere, near Burscough, is now lived in.
Nia O’Sullivan, head of sales and customer care at Prospect Homes, said: “Bridgemere’s location has been a major draw, offering residents the tranquillity of rural life with many homes enjoying views of local wildlife, farmland and the nearby canal.
"It’s these elements that contributed to the development being named the Best Small New Home Development at the 2024 YM Liverpool Awards. The Sawley show home also won Residential Interior Show Home for Lancashire at the 2024 UK Property Awards.”
Prospect Homes has also played an active role in supporting the local community throughout the build. The team partnered with nearby primary schools to run a creative drawing competition, with the winning artwork proudly displayed on the development’s hoarding. In addition, the homebuilder donated funds to local sports club JN Sports, enabling them to purchase more than 150 jumpers for training sessions and match days.
Colleagues also volunteered at Burscough Community Farm, helping to build raised beds that allowed the farm to grow crops for commercial wholesale, supporting its long-term sustainability.
