Hive launches 2019 business awards

Blackburn with Darwen's Hive business network has launched its 2019 awards.

The awards feature 24 categories, including The Retail Business Award, The Family Business Award, The Growth Business Award and The Manufacturing Excellence Award, and are open to both members and non-members.

The deadline for entries is the 29th March. Following submission there will be a shortlisting process, then a judging process carried out by an independent panel. The final winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony held at the stunning Kind George’s Hall, on the 27th June.

Ian Brown, who is part of the team that runs the Hive Ambassadors Network, said: “Last year we had some incredible companies involved who really exemplified the industrious and entrepreneurial nature of the commercial sector in our region.

“These awards offer a way of really showcasing the success of your business, in fact past winners have seen a huge boost in both awareness and growth as result of picking up a Hive business award.

“Entries are welcomed from any organisation or individual who has benefitted from the HIVE (Blackburn with Darwen) region. You do not necessarily have to be a Hive member or have a BWD postcode.”
