Now that we’re largely freed from lockdown restrictions and able to return to work, socialise with friends and head for days out with the family, it’s fairly easy (and perhaps preferred) to forget what life was like when the pandemic first broke out in early 2020. 

When reflecting on the last 18 months, it’s fair to say that they’ve presented substantial, unforeseen challenges for business owners across the whole range of industries and sectors, who have had to face temporary closures, amped up safety restrictions in the workplace, limited staff numbers, furlough and, in some cases, redundancies, resizing, and even a cease to trading.

COVID response cleaning for Precision Polymer Engineering Limited, Blackburn 

Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE) Limited is an IDEX Sealing Solutions company based in Blackburn, Lancashire, and a leading provider of high-performance O-rings, technical rubber mouldings, and sealing solutions. Following the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the UK, it was vital that Precision Polymer Engineering Limited could continue to operate in order to supply essential goods to a range of core industries.  

Responding quickly to the risks posed by the pandemic, the management staff at PPE approached our team to arrange for their existing daily cleaning procedures to be enhanced, and we were happy to help! In addition to providing Coronavirus fogging services as part of a monthly deep clean for their offices and production areas, we also increased our shift patterns in the factory to ensure the workplace would remain safe for all of their employees.
