Helping long-standing clients through the lockdown with Covid response cleaning

Now that we’re largely freed from lockdown restrictions and able to return to work, socialise with friends and head for days out with the family, it’s fairly easy (and perhaps preferred) to forget what life was like when the pandemic first broke out in early 2020.

When reflecting on the last 18 months, it’s fair to say that they’ve presented substantial, unforeseen challenges for business owners across the whole range of industries and sectors, who have had to face temporary closures, amped up safety restrictions in the workplace, limited staff numbers, furlough and, in some cases, redundancies, resizing, and even a cease to trading.

Here at Cleanbright, we’re incredibly grateful to our amazing team of cleaners and administrative staff, all of whom have remained committed to our clients and their safety, and continued to deliver an excellent service to keep things going throughout lockdown.

COVID response cleaning for Precision Polymer Engineering Limited, Blackburn

Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE) Limited is an IDEX Sealing Solutions company based in Blackburn, Lancashire, and a leading provider of high-performance O-rings, technical rubber mouldings, and sealing solutions. Manufacturing products for use in a diverse range of industries across the world, including aerospace and defence, food and water, and the pharmaceutical and biomedical industries, PPE has been a valued Cleanbright client since 2002.

With “precision” in the name, it’s imperative that a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained at all times within the factory to ensure the production procedures remain in line with all health and safety regulations, and to reduce the risk of any of their products becoming contaminated.

Following the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the UK, it was vital that Precision Polymer Engineering Limited could continue to operate in order to supply essential goods to a range of core industries.

Responding quickly to the risks posed by the pandemic, the management staff at PPE approached our team to arrange for their existing daily cleaning procedures to be enhanced, and we were happy to help! In addition to providing Coronavirus fogging services as part of a monthly deep clean for their offices and production areas, we also increased our shift patterns in the factory to ensure the workplace would remain safe for all of their employees.

Precision Polymer Engineering commented: “We’ve maintained a great working relationship with the team at Cleanbright for a number of years now, and they’ve always provided an excellent service. In response to the recent pandemic, we increased the number of deep cleans performed daily at our facility, which the Cleanbright team were very quick to accommodate.

“During the height of the pandemic we had two unannounced visits from the Health & Safety Executive, and we passed with flying colours on both occasions. This enabled us to stay open and operational during this particularly difficult time, and a huge thanks is extended to the Cleanbright team for the support they’ve provided.”

Looking for help with keeping your workplace clean and compliant, and your staff safe?
