Law firm Harrison Drury has achieved its strongest performance in the chambers and partners legal rankings, reflecting its continued investment in attracting, developing and retaining talented lawyers.

The firm has secured rankings across 10 practice areas and for 20 individual lawyers in the Chambers UK Guide 2027, seeing an improvement in bandings in comparison to last year.

The latest results include four new or improved departmental rankings, comprising three new entries and one promotion, while individual lawyers have achieved 15 new or improved rankings, including 12 new entries and three promotions.

The results recognise the firm's growing depth of expertise across a broad range of legal disciplines, with new or improved practice area rankings for construction, corporate and M&A, real estate litigation and licensing.

Among the individual successes are new rankings for Colin Fenny, Naomi Fell, Ros Monk and Roger Spence, while Mark Traynor, Katherine Sibley and Malcolm Ireland have all achieved promotions in their respective specialist areas.

The results also highlight the strength of Harrison Drury's emerging talent, with Jack Stephenson, Helen Russell, Luke Holden and Samantha Faud among those receiving new rankings. Recent additions to the firm, Asima Rana and Chris Longbottom, have also been ranked in the guide.

The Chambers UK Guide is one of the legal profession's leading independent directories, assessing law firms and individual lawyers through research, interviews and feedback from clients and professional contacts.

The latest results follow another strong performance for Harrison Drury in the recently published Legal 500 rankings, providing further independent recognition of the firm’s growing legal expertise and the quality of its people.

Simon England, managing partner at Harrison Drury, said: “These results are another important national endorsement of the quality of our people and the strength of the legal expertise we have across the firm.

“Coming so soon after our strong Legal 500 results, what's particularly encouraging is the breadth of these results, with new and improved rankings across four practice areas, established specialists continuing to gain recognition and a new generation of lawyers making their mark. Both directories provide an important independent assessment of the quality of our people and the service we deliver to clients.

“Over recent years, we have prioritised significant investment in attracting talented people to Harrison Drury, developing our existing teams and creating opportunities for lawyers to progress their careers. I’m proud to see that investment reflected in the growing recognition of our teams and individuals.

“Our ambition is to continue building a firm where talented people can develop rewarding careers, work alongside outstanding colleagues and make it possible for our clients. By creating the right environment for our people to succeed, we can deliver the best results for clients and continue to grow as a business.

“I want to congratulate everyone recognised in this year's guide, as well as the wider teams who play such an important part in our continued success. We are also hugely grateful to our clients, referrers and professional contacts who took the time to provide feedback to Chambers. Their continued support is fundamental to our success."
