Lancashire law firm Harrison Drury has become a founder patron of Vault Youth Zone in Preston, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to community wellbeing and long-term regional development.

Vault Youth Zone will open in early 2026 and forms part of the national network of independent OnSide Youth Zones.

The facility will provide thousands of local young people aged 8 to 19 access to high-quality activities, mentoring and support designed to build confidence, skills and aspirations.

As a founder patron, Harrison Drury will provide financial backing to support the running of the Youth Zone, shape future opportunities for young people and encourage broader engagement from the local business community.

This partnership aligns with the firm’s corporate and community focus, as it provides ongoing support to charities, community groups and education providers through a mix of financial support, volunteering, planned fundraising and pro-bono activity.

Simon England, managing partner at Harrison Drury, said: “Vault Youth Zone represents a major investment in the future of Preston’s young people. We believe strongly that a thriving regional economy depends on nurturing talent, ambition, and wellbeing from an early age.

“Becoming a founder patron is our way of helping to create a lasting resource that will benefit families, communities, and businesses across the city. We’re proud to support such a transformative initiative.”

Jamie Campbell, head of Harrison Drury’s Preston office, added: “As a community-focused law firm, we’re constantly looking for opportunities to give back in ways that make a real difference.

“Vault embodies that spirit, giving young people access to the support and activities they need to flourish. We’re proud to support this initiative, and to help ensure it has a lasting legacy in our city.”

Vault Youth Zone’s chief executive, Tim Jacques, said: “We are delighted to welcome Harrison Drury as a Founder Patron. Their support reflects a genuine commitment to strengthening opportunities for young people across Preston.

“Founder Patrons like Harrison Drury don’t just help build the Youth Zone, they help shape a future where young people are inspired, supported, and empowered to thrive. Their backing is another major step toward creating a Youth Zone the whole city can be proud of.”

Vault Youth Zone will operate seven days a week, with annual membership at just £5 and visit fees of 50p, ensuring accessibility for young people from all backgrounds.
