Burnley and Blackpool based marketing agency Happy Creative, have been appointed by safetywear specialists Dale Techniche as strategic marketing partner.
Following a recent management buyout, Dale Techniche, who operate from Throstle Nest Mill in Nelson, have been innovating in specialist safety wear since 2003. They have earned a reputation for technical excellence, client care, and industry-specific solutions across sectors including Glass, Utilities, Electricity, and Aviation.
With strong foundations already in place, the leadership team at Dale Techniche is now focused on evolving the brand from a respected niche supplier into a bold challenger in the marketplace. The appointment of Happy Creative marks a key step in this transformation.
Donna Emmott, operations director, said: “Our vision is to become leaders in providing safety workwear and aviation apparel.
“We chose Happy because they just got us. Their strategic thinking, creativity, and experience with niche brands like ours stood out from the start. We know where we want to go, and it’s great to have a partner who shares that vision and knows how to help us get there.”
As strategic marketing partner, Happy will deliver a full brand audit and customer segmentation, and value proposition refinement, alongside refining Dale Techniche’s value proposition. The work will be delivered through Happy’s proprietary RISUS™ framework, a marketing-for-growth model designed to align strategy, messaging and customer experience.
The partnership will include a full visual identity refresh, encompassing logo development, tone of voice, and brand messaging, alongside a review of the full customer journey to ensure every touchpoint reflects the company’s values and ambitions.
To support the brand evolution, a targeted social media campaign is also planned to build visibility among key decision-makers, raise awareness of Dale Techniche’s offer, and strengthen its market position as a quality-first, safety-led brand.
Karen Lambert, managing director of Happy Creative added: “Dale Techniche is one of those rare finds, a heritage-rich business with a modern outlook.
"Their roots in Lancashire’s textile and manufacturing legacy are right there in every loom and knitting machine we’ve seen in action. It’s a distinctive, specialist company with a strong future ahead, and we’re delighted to be part of their journey.”
