Amazing Accrington have announced a 50 per cent stall discount for all Hyndburn businesses attending the 2024 Accrington Food Festival on Saturday 1st June.

The food festival headlines a sensational weekend of events in Accrington, starting with a continental market on Broadway on Friday 31st May featuring a wide range of food and crafts.

On Saturday 1st June the food festival will return featuring a fantastic day of activities and fun for all the family including the very best Lancashire produce, a 50th anniversary celebration for Hyndburn Borough Council and a very special commemoration for the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

There will also be a live cooking demonstration area headlined by TV and Netflix star Molly Robbins, who will be returning to the event by popular demand, while Paul Fox from The Crafty Fox will also star.

Any Hyndburn based businesses looking to have a stall at the 2024 Accrington Food Festival now have the opportunity to enjoy a 50% discount off their stall, if they sign up before Friday 29th March.

Stall applications can be made on the #AmazingAccrington website: https://www.amazingaccrington.co.uk/amazingaccrington-2024-stallholder-application/

Murray Dawson, chair of Amazing Accrington, said: “We want to support local businesses and the Accrington Food Festival is a great way to encourage people to come into our town and spend money.

“The main aim of this year’s discount is to encourage more local businesses to sign up for stalls, so visitors to the event can learn more about what Hyndburn has to offer, all while embracing #ShopLocal.”

Acting leader of Hyndburn Borough Council, Coun Peter Britcliffe, said: “We are thoroughly looking forward to the Accrington Food Festival, which is one of the stand out events in the borough every year.

“The 50 per cent discount offered by #AmazingAccrington is a wonderful way to get more local businesses involved in the festival and we would encourage as many as possible to sign up before it’s too late!”
