Guild Hall has it all

With just three months to go until the festivities begin, Preston Guild Hall have everything you need to make this Christmas a real cracker.

Whether you’re looking for a sit down meal with colleagues, drinks with friends or just the perfect present, Preston Guild Hall has got it covered.

Take in a show

As always the Winter season is jam packed with wonderful shows to suit all tastes, from comedy to dance, opera to panto, there is really no better time to pay a visit.  Dance the night away with The Chicago Blues Brothers (16 Dec), sing along with Lesley Garrett in the Northern Christmas Proms (12 Dec), have a jolly old time with Jimmy Carr (23 Dec) or laugh along at the in house comedy club Comedy at The Guild (15 Dec).

Plus, if that wasn’t enough, the above shows also come with a ‘Show & Dine’ upgrade option.  For just £20 extra per person on top of your show ticket, you can enjoy a sumptuous 3 course meal in a private function suite with a glass of bubbly on arrival!

Family time

For the family, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a pantomime and this year it’s the magical story of Aladdin. Following the huge success of Sleeping Beauty (2015) and Jack and the Beanstalk (2016) venue bosses are delighted to welcome back the hilarious comedian Phil Walker to write, direct and star in this year’s production.

The show will be brought right up to date with spectacular special effects, illusions and pyrotechnics that will amaze even the most technological children (…and adults!) by once again teaming up with Twins FX.

Brand new for this year, the venue have also brought in the expertise of Freedom Flying who will be adding their own brand of fairy dust with an effect that they’ve never taken outside of London, so audiences are in for a real treat!

Party all night!

If you’re looking for a Christmas party like no other, crazy rave bingo night Bongo’s Bingo take to Preston Guild Hall with all their usual bingo antics, anthems, dance-offs and insane prizes.

Johnny Bongo and the team will be giving panto a 21st Century revamp for three consecutive nights this December as well as returning for a ‘Full House’ Party on New Year’s Eve.

Just remember to book the next day off work!

Get your glad rags on

Preston Guild Hall have two on site restaurants, The Villa Italian and Mundo Tapas which both offer Christmas menus to get your mouth watering.

The Villa Italian has a wide selection of dishes on its specially selected Christmas Menu from a traditional Turkey dinner (Tacchino Arrosto) to Tortellini Gorgonzola. If you fancy something a bit more adventurous, then Mundo Tapas serves up a fixed menu with cuisine from all corners of the globe in the form of small tapas-style dishes.  Enjoy a mixed platter starter followed by a tapas selection of 6 dishes including Mundo’s famous paella.
