Growing IT business StoneHouse Logic unveils new premises

Lancashire-based IT systems provider StoneHouse Logic has moved into new premises on a Clayton-Le-Moors business park that can accommodate their growing team.

Hyndburn MP Graham Jones cut the ribbon to officially open the stylish offices in Red Rose Court, off Blackburn Road, on Friday 23 September.

The award-winning IT business, established in 1998, is run by husband and wife team Mark and Sally Hope.

StoneHouse Logic’s move has been prompted by the business’s growth, with recent new contract wins and new members of staff joining the team.

It sees them double the size of their Lancashire office, located just a stone’s throw from Junction 7 of the M65, as they move onto a growing business park. While not far from their former offices, the move brings them closer to the heart of local business and into the same building as the Chamber of Commerce.

StoneHouse Logic managing director Mark Hope said, “This year has been a big year for us in terms of gaining new network support contracts, and larger contracts generally. We’d outgrown our old offices but didn’t want to move far. As someone who has grown up in Hyndburn and is very much aware of the business heritage of the borough, I was keen to stay local.

“Our new office space gives us room to grow over the next few years. Already, since we moved less than two months ago, we’ve appointed four new staff, and we expect to recruit more before the year is out.”

Mark and Sally Hope gave Graham Jones MP a tour of their new 8,000 square feet offices, which accommodate their 38 members of staff, and house meeting and training rooms and staff rest areas that improve upon the environment in which staff work and take their lunch breaks. Mark even challenged the MP to a game of pool in StoneHouse Logic’s new staff rest area!

Opening StoneHouse Logic’s new premises, Hyndburn MP Graham Jones said, “In StoneHouse Logic we have one of the borough’s flagship technology companies investing in the area, creating new jobs and apprenticeship opportunities. They’ve put down roots in Hyndburn and it’s wonderful to see them committed to the borough as they continue to grow.” StoneHouse Logic provides IT systems that resolve the limitations and frustrations faced by their clients, as well as offering services and software that maximise their productivity and profitability. The business, with offices in Lancashire, Manchester and West Yorkshire, is recognised as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and a Sage Strategic Business Partner. With expertise in a wide range of sectors and clients right across the UK, StoneHouse Logic provides a truly personal service and offers sensible and commercially driven consultancy, making every effort to get to know their clients’ business inside out.
