Groundswell Innovation, the leading innovation consultancy in Lancashire, has been awarded a place on a national contract framework from Connected Places Catapult to provide innovation support across the UK.

Connected Places Catapult is the UK's innovation accelerator for transport, cities and places. It connects businesses and public sector leaders to cutting-edge research to spark innovation and grow new markets and delivers a wide range of Research & Development projects and commercialisation activities to remove barriers to innovation adoption.

Groundswell are on a shortlist of suppliers from across the country who will be able to provide support for the delivery of a wide range of projects and innovation acceleration activities for academic, business, and public sector organisations over the next four years.

Said managing director, and founder of Groundswell, Jane Dalton: “We’re really excited to be working with Connected Places Catapult and can’t wait to get started.

"We know the potential that good innovation can unlock, we’ve seen it in so many organisations we’ve worked with over the past 14 years, including the hugely successful Peer Networks programme we supported early this year.

"We’re passionate about helping people and companies bring new ideas to life and helping them harness that spark of creativity. This is a fantastic opportunity both for us, and the organisations that we’re going to be working with.”
