Story Homes' plans for a 136-home development in Longton have been given the go-ahead by South Ribble Council.
The development will mark the housebuilder's second residential scheme in the village and will feature a mix of one- to six-bedroom homes.
The scheme has been designed to support environmental sustainability and biodiversity. It will also provide more than £1.7m in Community Infrastructure Levy contributions to fund local services and infrastructure improvements, benefiting both new and existing residents.
Josh Dobson-Brear, North West land manager at Story Homes, said: “This new scheme will provide much needed homes while enhancing the local community with landscaped green spaces, a central equipped play area and sustainable features throughout.
“This project underlines our continued investment in the region, helping to provide high-quality homes for local people now and in the future."
