In a recent announcement, the government has committed to support small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) in England, via fully funded apprenticeships for learners up to the age of 21.

With a commitment of £60m in government funding, this initiative seeks to unleash a wave of opportunities, paving the way for a more robust, productive economy.

The enhanced funding, which took effect on 1st April 2024, means that SMEs can access fully funded training for a wider range of both new apprentices and existing employees, harnessing the benefits of heightened productivity, improved brand image, and a more vibrant pool of ideas, all attributable to an apprentice workforce.

Apprenticeships can deliver real impact, whether you’re looking to:

  • Grow, motivate and retain your existing employee talent pool
  • Increase productivity.
  • Address skills shortages and improve the retention of key staff.
  • Support the professional development of employees throughout your company, including delivery specialists and support teams.
  • Save on recruitment costs and ‘grow your own talent’ by hiring an apprentice.

At North Lancs Training Group, we’re committed to supporting your business grow while nurturing the next generation of talent. Join us in shaping a brighter future for your business by contacting us at [email protected] or calling us on 01254 395355.
