Edinburgh-based fleet management specialist Gofor has announced the opening of a brand-new office in Blackburn, the company’s first location outside of its Scottish headquarters.

Three business development professionals with over 40 years of
combined experience in fleet solutions and EV salary sacrifice have also been appointed.

The expansion represents a significant chapter in Gofor’s evolution, reinforcing its position as one of the UK’s leading mid-sized vehicle leasing brokers.

The new office, located in the north west, will serve as a hub for the growing company and reflects increasing demand from businesses across the UK for Gofor’s proactive fleet solutions and electric vehicle (EV) salary sacrifice schemes.

The three new team members are Mark Stuart (fleet and salary sacrifice consultant), Peter Wright (fleet and salary sacrifice consultant), and Paul Armstrong (account manager).

Between them, they bring decades of expertise in consultative fleet
management to their new roles at Gofor.

They will focus on growing Gofor’s footprint with small-to medium-sized businesses seeking a forward-thinking partner to manage their company cars, vans and wider employee vehicle strategy.

Founder and CEO of Gofor, Graham Lesslie, said: “This is a significant day for Gofor. We launched with a goal to build a business that
offered customers proactive solutions to help better manage their company vehicles.

"Today, we’re delivering that value to businesses across the UK and by expanding our footprint with a location in England, we’ll be able to strengthen our position as one of the UK’s leading mid-sized vehicle leasing brokers.”

Iain Bennett, Gofor managing director, who will work closely with the new hires, added: “We’re delighted to strengthen our business development team with the appointment of Mark, Paul and Peter.

"Their combined experience and deep understanding of fleet
management and EV salary sacrifice will be invaluable as we grow our UK-wide reach.

"This is not just about scale – it’s about supporting our customers with service-led, consultative and effective solutions that will deliver long-term value for their fleets.”

Mark Stuart said: “I’ve known about Gofor for a few years now as they’ve grown within the leasing broker market.

"The opportunity to join them and to be a core part of the next step of their journey is an exciting one; I can’t wait to start meeting our new and prospective customers across the UK in the coming weeks and months”

Gofor supports hundreds of businesses with end-to-end fleet management, including EV adoption strategies, salary sacrifice programmes, and ongoing driver support.

The company continues to invest in their talent, technology, and partnerships to help UK businesses reduce complexity, save money, and meet the sustainability goals associated with their company vehicle strategies.
