Geraldine counts up 35 years with Cassons

Geraldine Spencer joined Cassons in 1979 and recently celebrated notching up 35 years at the firm.

Geraldine says: “The company had just two partners when I started – now we have eight, and the number of staff has grown from ten to sixty.

Starting with the firm as a secretary and receptionist, Geraldine moved into administration and spent time at Cassons’ Manchester office before returning to their Burnley office, which is now located in Haslingden.

“It’s a progressive firm and the staff are great to work with – many of the team have been here for ten, twenty, or even thirty years.” Cassons presented Geraldine with a bouquet of flowers at a special event attended by all staff and they will also celebrate her time with the business, along with the firm’s other long servers, at their annual Christmas event.
