FUNDA teams up with Burnley FC to launch children's play centre

Burnley FC in the Community has teamed up with Pendle-based FUNDA to create a state-of-the-art, 133,00 sq ft leisure facility at its Leisure Box site.

FUNDA LAND will bring a range of activities including indoor soft play, birthday parties, bumper cars and a Lazer Zone, a crèche, cafe, fitness gym for children 0-12, and provision for nursery and primary schools including SEND.

The former warehouse at Northlight Mill in Pendle also offers a 3G outdoor 7 a side pitch, indoor 4G, badminton, table tennis, pickle ball, cricket facilities and the largest Clip and Climb in East Lancashire.

He added: “We also have plans to launch a peadiatric physiotherapy, SEND and NHS referals hub to support children and young people's physical, emotional, social, nutrition and mental health."

"We’ve partnered with FUNDA so they can develop the current indoor soft play, gym, and former dance studio with the childcare expertise FUNDA brings. Kieran the founder of FUNDA has some really exciting plans and I’m sure FUNDA will be a fantastic partner for Burnley FC in the Community."

FUNDA Land is scheduled to open in early December 2022.
