Frontier Park and Burnley Bridge retain AA-grade BRCGS certification

We’re thrilled to announce that following a recent audit of our Frontier Park and Burnley Bridge sites, we have retained our AA-grade rating from the Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS).

The audit occurred on the 29th and 30th of August and saw both of our warehouses successfully achieve the highest possible rating from the BRCGS. This fantastic achievement demonstrates our compliance with the strict food safety and hygiene standards that are required to store and distribute food-related products – providing peace of mind for our clients and end-consumers alike.

“To renew this certification is a real honour for Fagan & Whalley and shows that we continue to provide our clients with the reassurance that their products are handled safely and compliantly.” says F&W HSEQ manager John Marsden, “Additionally, it’s a great service for us to offer prospective clients – and goes a long way in demonstrating the fantastic work we do here at Fagan & Whalley.”

“As soon as a product enters the F&W network, it is entirely traceable, meaning we can keep clients updated with their stock and distribution figures, act quickly in the case of any product recalls, and reassure end-consumers that their products are of the highest quality.”

“Whilst we first achieved an AA-grade certification for our Burnley Bridge site in 2017, our newer Frontier Park site received an AA-grade certification in October last year – so this most recent audit is a real achievement, and one the entire F&W team are proud of. Our  AA-grade certification demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement and delivering the highest standards of care within the industry”.

“This achievement is a testament to the continued hard work and dedication all of our team put into their work every single day, and we couldn’t be prouder!”

What is the BRCGS?

Formerly the British Retail Consortium (BRC), the BRCGS sets international standards for food safety, used by over 26,000 suppliers in 130 countries. These standards provide evidence that an organisation is able to meet regulatory requirements for the safe storage and distribution of food products, avoiding cross-contamination between food products and providing protection for the end consumer.

At Fagan & Whalley, we provide specialist BRCGS and soil association warehousing services for clients across all industries, including those within the food industry.

For more information on our BRCGS facilities and services, please get in touch here or ring us on 01282 771983.
