Four new sponsors for Red Rose Awards

Lancashire Business View is proud to announce four new sponsors for the Red Rose Awards 2014, an event that will see the cream of the county’s firms crowned at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.

RRA14logoMagma Digital, Recall, Lantei and Red Rose Holdings all join the roster of sponsors already supporting the awards.

Entries closed for the awards on Friday 17 January, and tickets are now on sale here. Finalists for each category will be announced on 3 February, with judging taking place on 12 and 13 February.

Jeremy Coates of Magma Digital, a PHP web application development agency, said: "After entering the awards for the first time in 2013, we were delighted to be finalists on our debut and were very impressed with how the awards champion the heroes of the Lancashire economy. This year, we wanted to show our support for business and commerce in Lancashire by sponsoring the Financial Services Team of the Year category.

“The Red Rose Awards are fantastic - they give the opportunity to pause, take stock and review. This process gives business the drive to look forward and build on what it has already achieved!"

Anthony Weil of Recall, a global document storage and management business, said: “The awards are a forum for businesses in the region to get recognised for the contribution they make to the wider community, whilst at the same time bringing people together and giving them the opportunity to network with one another and develop their commercial ties. Recall are proud to be a contributor to the awards and sponsor the Legal Team of the Year category.

“We opened our first business operation in the region in 2011 and have subsequently strengthened through the acquisition of Ibex Information Management in Preston. The legal sector, both regionally and nationally, are key to our further expansion. Accordingly, we are delighted to be able to give something back.”

Leona Smith of Lantei, a provider of electrical safety and facility services, said: “The Red Rose Awards represents and recognises the best businesses in the Red Rose county. It is a great honour to be involved in the process and I really enjoy meeting and hearing all the stories of success from the companies participating in the event. The awards is a great opportunity to raise your profile and showcase your business.

“Lantei wanted to sponsor the property section of the awards because we are in facilities management. Looking at the success of property companies was in keeping with our core values and interests.” Mark Holden of Red Rose Holdings, a property and construction firm, said: "After winning Best Start Up for The Hub at Buckshaw in 2012, and then going on to win Construction Business of the Year with Red Rose Drylining in 2013 it's now a privilege to be sponsoring the event which showcases the best of Lancashire businesses."
