Forward Thinking UK, a leader in business growth, transformation, business community building, and a trusted brand throughout Lancashire, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Let’s Make A Difference, an impactful and newly established CIC dedicated to bridging the gap between council housing and the private rental market in Lancashire.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward in both organisations' commitment to making a positive difference in the local community and beyond. By joining forces, Forward Thinking UK and Let’s Make A Difference aim to amplify their collective impact and create lasting change in sourcing and providing affordable housing for everyone.
Founder Andy Henderson said; “We're really proud to be supporting Stuart with his new Let’s MAD initiative. We’re hoping to see many more businesses sponsoring Stuart over the next few months so that we can really break the cycle and help many service users receiving help and support from local charities live and lead a happy independent life.”
As part of this partnership, Forward Thinking UK will be supporting Let’s Make A Difference through the MAD Sponsors scheme. This may include financial contributions, employee volunteer programs, or other forms of support to help Let’s Make A Difference achieve its goals and fulfil its mission.
Let’s Make A Difference’s founder Stuart Lee expressed gratitude for the partnership, stating, "I’m delighted to have Forward Thinking UK on board as our first “MAD Sponsor”. It means a lot to have the support of people like Andy, Jennie, and the FT team who share my passion for helping others, and intention to get involved is driven by their heart and wanting to Make A Difference, and not what is in it for them."
Stuart went on to say: “Forward Thinking UK is the perfect example for people to use if they want to know if they are the right fit for Let’s MAD. Do they want to get involved purely to tick the CSR / ESG box, or do they want to make a difference to those who need it most in their community? If it is the latter, then I want to speak to them!”
Both organisations look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring and the positive outcomes that will result from their combined efforts.

About Let’s Make A Difference
Let’s Make A Difference was formed because the founder, Stuart Lee, worked with many charities assisting them with their IT and telecoms requirements, and so many were experiencing the same problems when trying to source affordable housing, either through council and social housing or the private rental market.
There is a long-standing issue with a lack of council housing, and due to the increased demand on the private rental market, charities and their service users were priced out of the market as universal credit (formerly known as housing allowance) hadn’t grown at the same rate as rental costs.
He then decided to step away from the IT business at the back end of last year, in order to explore this problem a bit more, work out why no one was doing anything to help, determine if people had already tried and failed, what could be done, and who did we know who could help.
Let’s Make A Difference's mission is to bridge the gap between council housing and the private rental market, with a two-pronged approach, firstly by working with his extensive business network through the MAD Sponsors scheme, and secondly, by working with investors and renovating dilapidated properties to make them available specifically with charities to help them do more of the fantastic work that they do in all of our local communities.
