Blackpool-based print business Forsyth and Steele has appointed Alex Forsyth as managing director.
Founded in 1986 by Ian Forsyth and Robert Steele, and next year will celebrate its 40th anniversary.
Alex, son of outgoing Managing Director Ian, will now lead the company into it’s next chapter — continuing that to build on four decades of experience whilst moving the business into a new innovative chapter.
Ian Forsyth, who has steered the business for decades, will remain actively involved as Director and Consultant, while stepping back from the day-to-day in preparation for retirement.
Alex said: “Forsyth and Steele has always been about more than just print — it’s about people, relationships, and making ideas come to life.
“As we celebrate 40 years, I’m excited to lead the business into a new era, helping our customers use print more effectively while exploring the potential of emerging technologies that will shape the future of print for our customers.
"Rob and Ian are passing the baton in a really strong position, giving the team and I solid footings to build the business over the coming years.”
The company has become widely known in Blackpool and the wider area, working with organisations of all sizes across the North West.
With Alex at the helm, Forsyth and Steele will continue to invest in modern print solutions that combine creativity with sustainability — ensuring that print remains a powerful tool for communication.
Ian said: “I’m incredibly proud of the family business we’ve built over the last four decades.
“Passing the reins to Alex is a milestone moment, and I know his vision will carry Forsyth and Steele forward whilst maintaining it’s core values.”
With a strong family legacy behind it and an exciting vision for the years ahead, Forsyth and Steele enters its 40th year ready to help businesses unlock the full potential of print in a fast-changing world.
