Forbes Solicitors serves up lease for new Preston restaurant

Lancashire-headquartered Forbes Solicitors has helped agree a five-year lease for a new restaurant and bar in Preston city centre. 

The new venue, named Luka, will open in the coming weeks, taking residency in the former home of chain-restaurant Bistrot Pierre in Fishergate, which closed in March last year. 

Luka will offer a range of dishes inspired by flavours from around the world, including Mediterranean-influenced specialties.

Danielle Leeming, a senior associate in the commercial property team at Forbes Solicitors, said: “This is a particularly exciting lease that breathes new life into an iconic Preston building and brings a completely new dining and socialising experience to the city. 

“We’ve worked closely with the Luka team to agree a lease that supports breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening trade, including on-premises licensing, entertainment and outdoor dining. The result will be a vibrant venue that meets growing demand for high-quality hospitality throughout the day and evening.”
