The Regenda Group has reappointed Forbes Solicitors to its legal services framework, further extending a partnership between the two organisations that began in 2006.
Forbes will continue to provide legal services spanning four key areas including: 1) corporate, governance, financial and securitisation, 2) housing, management, and commercial, 3) property, development and construction, and 4) HR.
The law firm was reappointed after scoring highly for its experience and expertise in the key sectors that The Regenda Group works in.
Julie Vincent, director of governance at The Regenda Group, said: “Our organisation strives to deliver positive social impact throughout housing and construction, care and support, and education, training and careers. Part of this involves pooling expertise with suppliers and partners who have the capabilities to support us in regenerating places and creating opportunities for people.
“Forbes Solicitors scored highly during tendering for the legal services framework, because they cover a diverse range of specialisms and provide professional advice as a united team. They have an in-depth understanding of our key sectors and can help us to effectively make a difference in these important areas.”
Catherine Kennedy, head of housing and regeneration at Forbes Solicitors, added: “It has been an honour to be part of The Regenda Group’s legal services framework during the past 18 years. We’ve been able to support their innovative and progressive projects, which has been motivational and rewarding.
“We’re very much looking forward to continuing to work together and supporting their ambitions in fast-paced and evolving markets. Housing, care and education are subject to expansive regulation and face a multitude of opportunities and challenges that should be handled considerately and sensitively. Working as an extended part of The Regenda Group’s team and providing authentic advice helps to achieve this.”
The reappointment to the legal services framework marks Forbes’ continued strength and presence in the social housing sector. Following recent rounds of national tendering, not-for-profit organisation the Communities and Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) Ltd and Ongo Homes Ltd, a Community Benefit Society, both awarded legal services contracts to Forbes Solicitors.
