Forbes Solicitors and Barclays confirmed as Red Rose Awards 2014 headline sponsors

Lancashire Business View has announced joint headline sponsors for its Red Rose Awards 2014 with Forbes Solicitors and Barclays taking top billing.

RRA14logoForbes has reaffirmed its support, returning as a headline sponsor for the fourth year running.

Andrea Stamp, director of marketing and business development at Forbes, said: “We are proud to once again be a headline sponsor of the Red Rose Awards. The ceremony has now become a firm date in the diaries of local businesses. It’s a privilege to be able to support an event which showcases the successes of so many businesses in the county.

“The quality and number of entries in the 2013 Red Rose Awards will take some beating but I would encourage any business who has something to shout about to get involved when entries open.”

As a first for 2014, we also announce Barclays as a headline sponsor.

John Stanworth, Corporate Director at Barclays in Lancashire, said: “Barclays is delighted to confirm its sponsorship of the Red Rose Awards.  This is a great opportunity for Barclays to continue to show its support for the business and professional community, particularly at a time when the economy is finally starting to turn a corner.

“Barclays is fully committed to supporting its clients and helping them to fulfil their growth potential. The Awards are a great platform to showcase success and show how businesses are innovating and investing to fuel their growth ambitions.”

The Awards, which will be formally launched in the November-December issue of Lancashire Business View magazine, will take place on March 13, 2014, at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

Richard Slater, the magazine's publisher, said: "We are proud to have these fantastic headline sponsors on board for 2014. These are blue-chip brands and their calibre says much about the esteem in which these awards are held."
