Flexible spaces create buzz at Beehive

Newly renovated flexible working space has proven popular at the Beehive in Blackburn.

The three-storey office building, at Shadsworth Business Park off the M65, has been upgraded to cater for teams as small as two people.

Whittle Jones, the agents acting on behalf of Northern Trust Company, announced that the offices are now occupied by nine local businesses.

They include Origin Control Solutions, Ever Agency and Business One Page Plan.

Andrew Botham, managing director of Business One Page Plan (Bopp), said: "Our new office facilities provide the perfect setting to expand Bopp over the next few years, especially our Business Growth Club which benefits from the exclusive use of the meeting room facilities for workshop events."

John Marrow, regional property manager at Whittle Jones, said: “Following the success of the flexible office space at The Beehive we are now looking to create a further seven smaller flexible suites on the remainder of the ground floor.

"These suites will continue to incorporate an all-inclusive pricing structure, making them ideal for new start up or small businesses looking for an office base with flexible leasing options.”

Neil Weaver, from Taylor Weaver also joint agents on the scheme, said: “Following the recent upgrades to the common areas we have witnessed an increase in demand for office space within the building. "We are in talks with a number of potential tenants and hope to announce further lettings in the near future.”
