Five new starters at Cassons

Cassons Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers has announced five new additions to its team.

Cassons recruitsDeborah Ashworth joins payroll; Carolyn Turnstall is the latest addition to the tax department; Kimberly Haworth takes on the role of accountant; graduate Dan Woods joins as a trainee; and Linda Smith will be covering a maternity leave in admin.

In addition, two of the firm’s trainees, Lexi Hamer and Chris Greenwood, have passed their exams and become Associate Chartered Accountants.

The new appointments have come on the back of a sustained period of growth for the firm.

Managing partner Les Nutter, who is president of the North West Society of Chartered Accountants, said: “In our line of work, it’s all about the people. Our clients expect us to have high technical standards – that’s taken as read - but we look beyond that in our recruitment and training. “Our focus is on improving our clients’ businesses, reducing their tax liabilities, maximising their wealth, meeting their deadlines, and exceeding their expectations. To achieve that you need great people who are committed to delivering first class professional service.”
