First-time buyer discovers perfect fit at Green Hills Farmstead Collection

When first-time buyer Meksha began her home-buying journey, she hadn't planned on moving so soon.

However, after spotting advertisements for Kingswood Homes' developments, she was particularly drawn to the appealing energy-saving features and high-end finishes.

Mekhsa said: "I was intrigued by the solar panels and energy-saving features.

"When the sales team mentioned a Haybarn 4 that met my requirements of minimum three bedroom detached property, I was immediately interested."

The decision to purchase was made even more appealing by Kingswood Homes' five per cent deposit contribution scheme.

"This was a huge selling point for me as a first-time buyer," Meksha explains. "The high-spec kitchen with included appliances and additional voucher for washer and dryer meant I didn't need to purchase any kitchen appliances – another significant benefit."

For Meksha, a new-build home offered clear advantages. The property requires minimal upkeep, while the 10-year structural warranty delivers peace of mind. The combination of moving into a never-lived-in home, high-spec standard features, excellent customer service, and new-build incentives made it the perfect choice.

Meksha said: "I have had an excellent experience with Kingswood Homes.

"From the sales team to the aftercare, everyone has been incredibly helpful. The site team has been particularly supportive, resolving any small issues promptly and providing assistance with everything from paint touch-ups to Hive system setup."

Now settled in her new home, Meksha is already thinking ahead, considering the purchase of an electric car to take full advantage of the property's EV charger and other eco-friendly features. The private, non-overlooked position of the home and its energy-efficient design have proved to be perfect for her needs.

"The standard layout suited my requirements perfectly, and the price range was exactly what I was looking for," concludes Meksha.

"The entire process, from dealing with the sales staff to working with the solicitors, has been remarkably smooth."

The Green Hills Farmstead Collection, where Meksha found her perfect home, represents a contemporary take on residential living inspired by local farm buildings.

The collection features cutting-edge homes with over £15,000 worth of energy-saving features, including solar PV panels, shower heat recovery systems, and enhanced insulation.

The development's distinctive architectural style incorporates floor-length windows and cedar cladding, creating a modern aesthetic while maintaining connection to the area's agricultural heritage.

As part of a thriving community that includes nine areas of open space - equivalent to four football pitches - Green Hills combines countryside living with modern convenience.

With more 250 homeowners already calling Green Hills home, the development has established itself as one of the region's most sought-after residential locations, offering residents abundant recreational areas and a strong sense of community.

The two Farmstead show homes are now open 7 days a week for customers to visit or you can view the available homes on their website: https://kingswoodhomes.uk.com/developments/greenhills-the-farmstead-eco-collection/
