The first of a new brand of Chinese electric vehicles will be available in Lancashire when two new showrooms open next month.
Two new dealerships selling the LEPAS brand, which launched in the UK this year, will open in Preston and Blackburn on 1 September 2026.
Bowker Motor Group confirmed the Preston dealership will operate from its temporary location on Channel Way while plans continue for a permanent site. In Blackburn, Bowker has established a dedicated showroom for the brand.
John Nichol, head of business, pictured above with LEPAS managing director, Ray Wang, said: "We have been working towards this date for some time and it is great to be able to confirm when customers will be able to visit us. There has been plenty of interest in the brand already and we are looking forward to introducing LEPAS to motorists across the region."
The opening follows Bowker's recent expansion of its partnership with Chery International through the launch of a CHERY dealership in Preston. LEPAS becomes the latest Chery brand represented by the group.
John said: "Launching a new automotive brand doesn't happen often. It is exciting to be part of bringing LEPAS to Lancashire and helping customers experience the vehicles for themselves.”
