First look at The Sycamores housing development

Story Homes has published an artist's impression for its first development in Blackburn, called The Sycamores.

The new development features 205 homes, including three, four and five-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes providing up to 1,905 sq ft of living space.

Construction of the homes is now underway, with the first residents due to move in Summer 2018

Richard Kitson, sales manager, said: “We are excited to be opening our first development in Blackburn. The development has been extremely well thought out and is not only high-quality but also complements the existing character of the area.

“The location is absolutely fantastic with amazing views. We are in the first phase of site setup which includes the groundwork, laying down the infrastructure, roads and sewers.

"In a few weeks we will be able to start building the foundations of the first plots, including the show home which will open in Summer 2018.”

The award-winning builder’s proposals will create a sustainable and integrated development that would make an important contribution to the district’s housing supply. The New Homes Bonus of circa £304,133 per annum will be reinvested in local services over a six year period.
