Cassons chartered accountants and business advisers is proud to be sponsoring the International Achievement category of 2014 Red Rose Awards, and is keen to encourage all businesses in Lancashire to enter.

The awards, which are now in their fourth year, recognise the outstanding achievements of Lancashire’s brightest businesses and business leaders. Launched by Lancashire Business View magazine in 2011, the Red Rose Awards have become one of the highlights of the year for Lancashire’s business community.

The 2014 awards, which are on March 13, will once again take place in the magnificent Empress Ballroom at Blackpool Winter Gardens.

More than 20 awards will be up for grabs on the night in various sector and business size categories. Cassons are sponsoring the International Achievement Award.

Les Nutter, managing partner at Cassons, said: “We are proud to be associated with one of the most eagerly-anticipated events in the Lancashire business calendar.

“The Red Rose Awards celebrates some remarkable businesses, shining a light on their achievements, and the people responsible for them. That’s why we didn’t hesitate to get involved as a category sponsor.

“The International Achievement award is a great fit for us because many of our clients are actively involved in export markets.

“As members of BKR International, a global association of independent accounting and business advisory firms we are perfectly placed to offer the best possible advice and support to businesses looking to trade overseas.

“Lancashire is home to some amazing businesses, many of whom make incredible products, and we are passionate about giving them the help and support they need to flourish on an international stage.

“The International Achievement award is a chance to shout about some of these success stories, which in turn will hopefully inspire others to trade overseas.” Submissions for the Red Rose Awards need to be received on Friday 17 January 2014 so please make sure your entry isn’t late!
