Faster Britain, the UK's leading business fibre network, has commissioned Lancashire-based Roadshow Promotions to raise awareness and engagement with businesses for improved connectivity across the country.

Faster Britain, powered by ITS Technology Group (ITS), is at the forefront of delivering gigabit-capable full-fibre networks and is playing a crucial role in helping the UK government achieve its 2030 target of 100% capability.

Roadshow Promotions' corporate class double decker bus is helping educate and connect businesses across the UK with high-speed, reliable connectivity, as well as help them navigate and thrive in a digital world.

With the copper switch off in 2025 and the government’s target for providing access to full-fibre connectivity, Faster Britain is taking a novel approach of using a promotional bus to support its partners and the UK’s business community as they utilise ultrafast speeds and prepare their businesses for the future.

The fully branded corporate class double decker bus will be touring the UK for 12 months. It will be visiting 70+ networks and working with ITS’s 500-strong partner base. The tour, which will focus on industrial estates and business parks, aims to engage businesses and encourage them to sign up for faster connectivity via a range of specialist partners.

Manned by Faster Britain specialists, the bus commenced its tour from the ITS Technology Headquarters in Warrington and will continue throughout the Lancashire before touring the entire country.

The double-decker promotional bus has been designed to accommodate training sessions and demonstrations on the upper deck, while providing a fully branded welcome area and hospitality on the lower deck. This innovative approach allows for a dynamic and engaging experience for businesses to learn about the benefits of faster connectivity and empower businesses to embrace the future of broadband technology which is built specifically for UK business use.

The logistical planning of routes and permissions for the tour has been extensive, ensuring that the bus can reach its intended audience effectively. One of Roadshow Promotions' dedicated drivers will oversee the tour, ensuring that it operates smoothly and efficiently.

Christina Gatcliffe, Faster Britain’s marketing manager, said: “We are thrilled to have partnered with Roadshow Promotions for this important initiative. Their expertise in route planning, logistical advice and attention to detail, especially in navigating the London locations, has been invaluable. This bus and its tour represent our commitment to making gigabit-capable connectivity accessible and understandable to all.

"The bus will host connectivity clinics, providing practical advice and insights into the transition from copper to fibre. It aims to educate and empower businesses, showcasing how faster, more reliable internet can transform operations and drive growth. We are delighted with the impact the bus is already having.”

Commenting on the tour, Blackpool-based Roadshow Promotions' director Natasha Greenley said “It’s fantastic that one of our buses is able to play its part in helping businesses connect with the new generation of business broadband.”
