Fagan & Whalley's partnership with Burnley Bondholders

Burnley Bondholders is an organisation led by those in the private sector and dedicated to raising the profile and promoting the enterprising potential of the area. Now with over 200 members, the Bondholders is a consortium of local businesses that are passionate about the benefits of being based in Burnley, and invested in the town’s development.

Advocating that we are ‘stronger together’, Burnley Bondholders provides an excellent foundation for building a solid business network.

“We’ve always been very proud of our town – it’s where we’re from, and it’s played a vital role in helping the company become what it is today,” says F&W General Manager, Sam Fagan. “We initially became a member of the Burnley Bondholders organisation as we wanted to recognise those benefits we’ve gained by being based here, and reciprocate with an investment into the town.

“Fagan & Whalley is a part of Burnley, so we felt passionate about being part of the commitment to promoting its potential, and shouting about it being a great place to invest and build something for yourself. The Bondholders plays host to a substantial network of local companies from a range of sectors, and we were excited to get involved.

“Following our involvement, we’ve grown some very strong working relationships with a number of local businesses, and we’ve actually acquired some of our key suppliers by creating connections through the Bondholders network. Our IT services are provided by Seriun, who we connected with at a Bondholders event, and our website and marketing is looked after by another bondholder, Root Fifty Two.

“As part of our commitment to the cause, we’ve incorporated two Burnley Bondholders livieried trailers into our fleet. Travelling all over the UK as part of our transport and distribution operation, these trailers will be seen in towns and cities up and down the country, and are designed to help with marketing the town and really pushing its strong enterprising network.”
