Energy bills too high? Here’s how thousands are getting free help

Struggling with soaring energy bills? Help is available — and it’s free

With energy prices remaining stubbornly high and uncertainty around future price caps, thousands of UK households are feeling the pressure.

At ECO Providers, we know how hard it is to keep homes warm and energy bills down — especially for families in older or inefficient properties.

That’s why we’re helping households across the Ribble Valley, Lancashire, and the UK take advantage of government-backed schemes offering free energy-saving upgrades. If you qualify, you could receive insulation, modern heating systems, or even renewable energy solutions — at no cost to you.

What’s Available?

ECO4 Scheme
Designed for lower-income households or those living in hard-to-heat homes, ECO4 covers upgrades like loft and wall insulation, smart heating systems, and solar panels. These improvements help reduce your reliance on expensive energy and keep your home cosy all year round.

The Flex Scheme (LA Flex)
Even if you don’t qualify for ECO4 under standard rules, you might still be eligible under the Flex route. It’s perfect for households that are vulnerable to cold, live in older homes, or are on certain benefits. Local councils work with us to determine eligibility.

Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)
This scheme focuses on affordable insulation upgrades — like cavity wall and loft insulation — helping homes stay warmer for less. It's a key part of the government’s drive to cut carbon and support households amid rising energy costs.

Why Now?

The energy crisis isn’t over. Despite recent stabilisation in the Ofgem energy price cap, many households are still paying far more than they were just a few years ago — and winter is never far away. Improving your home’s efficiency now means you’ll be better prepared for whatever comes next.

Plus, these schemes won’t be around forever — so the time to act is right now.

Helping local families, creating local impact

From our base in the Ribble Valley, we’re delivering trusted, high-quality upgrades for homes across the UK. Whether you live in Lancashire or further afield, our expert team will walk you through every step, from eligibility checks to installation.

Refer and Earn
Know someone who might qualify? Refer them to us and earn £200 once their upgrades are complete. You’ll be helping them save money while giving your own finances a boost too.
