Edge Hill University is celebrating outstanding success in the latest Graduate Outcomes data, released by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).
The data shows Edge Hill continues to outperform national averages in key employability measures and once again ranks top in the North West for employment.
- The highest UG graduate outcomes in the NW – 96.2 per cent of 2022/23 undergraduate degree graduates are in work or further study 15 months after graduation
- 97.7 per cent of postgraduate degree graduates are in work or further study 15 months after graduation (Graduate Outcomes data released 2025 from 2022/23 graduates)
- 98.1 per cent of PGCE graduates are in work or further study 15 months after graduation (Graduate Outcomes data released 2025 from 2021/23 graduates)
Edge Hill retains its position as top university in the North West for employment.
This success reflects Edge Hill’s longstanding, student-focused approach to employability and career readiness.
The data also highlights strong performance across a wide range of Edge Hill’s academic programmes. Courses with particularly high levels of employment include Computer Games and Animation, Law, Accountancy, Sociology, English, Business and Management, Psychology, Nursing and Midwifery, and undergraduate Teacher Training. The results reflect the University’s growing reputation across all faculties, demonstrating that while Edge Hill has a proud history in nursing and teaching, it now excels across a diverse range of disciplines.
