eBusiness UK wins three new web development contracts

eBusiness UK is pleased to announce that it has secured the contract to deliver three new websites for a neighbouring Blackburn company.

The third, an ecommerce operation, will help businesses access vital equipment which will help employees and customers stay safe as the country gets back to work.

The eBusiness UK team has begun work on new websites for Arctic Glass and RocPlas, which supply windows, doors and conservatories across the North West, Yorkshire and Midlands.

It is also building an online shop for a new division, RocCare, which has created an all-in-one box featuring gloves, masks, hand sanitiser and informative signs to display in workplaces. The packs will be sold at fair prices, and any profit made will be donated to local charities.

Stephen Porter, business development manager, said: “We were making calls to our customers, just checking in to see how they were coping, and found that many of them were struggling to access things like hand sanitiser at fair prices. At the same time, we were speaking with a supplier of more than 20 years who is producing all of these items, and so we put the two together and created RocCare.

“We are just doing whatever is in our power to help so that businesses, who have a duty to protect their own customers and employees, have one less thing to worry about right now.”

Stephen added: “We have known and worked with eBusiness UK for many years and have a great relationship with the team. We knew this project needed a very quick turnaround and that they were the ones to call.”

Nasir Kothia, director of eBusiness UK, said: “We are delighted to have won three new contracts with a forward-thinking company, especially as it demonstrates how important a web presence and the ability to trade online is during these challenging times.

“We are particularly proud to be helping RocCare with its positive contribution to the business community. I think that making these supplies accessible they will make a positive difference to many businesses, and it’s this sense of community and acts of kindness such as these that is required for us to pull through these challenging times.”
