EBP eyes growth with Abbie Mosley appointment

Blackburn-based EBP Building Products is targeting national expansion with the appointment of Abbie Mosley as business development manager.

Abbie has a business background working for multi-national companies, including Enterprise car rental firm and retailer Mamas & Papas, in Yorkshire and the North West.

The bid for UK-wide growth follows a management buyout of Blackburn-based Ensor Building Products in 2015. The company, founded in 1929, changed trading name and redefined its style of business at the beginning of 2017.

It is now one of the UK’s largest specialist importers and distributors of roofing, drainage and building materials to builders’ merchants and the construction industry, sourcing products from local and global suppliers.

Abbie’s recruitment is the next phase of EBP’s expansion and has enabled owner-managing director Philip Brooke to consolidate his team, with Jess Brooke joining in June 2017 as head of sales and customer service and Sam Brooke joining in October 2017 to develop new commercial and market opportunities for the business.
