East Lancashire Hospice teams up with solicitors for Will Week

LBV SIZE Will Week

A collaboration between East Lancashire Hospice and a group of dedicated local solicitors is coming together for Will Week, which runs from 22nd to 26th January and is set to make a profound impact on both the community and hospice care.

This week-long initiative brings together esteemed legal professionals who have generously volunteered their expertise to support the community and East Lancashire Hospice.

What is Will Week?

Will Week is a special time when individuals are encouraged to prioritise their future by creating or updating their Wills. This essential legal document ensures that your wishes are respected and assets are distributed according to the deceased desires.

During Will Week, participating solicitors have taken their commitment to the community a step further and are offering a FREE Will-writing service to individuals who book an appointment during the week, in return for a donation made to East Lancashire Hospice.

Why Your Will Matters

Beyond the legalities, having a well-documented Will brings peace of mind not only to you but also to your loved ones. It eases the burden on family members during an already challenging time, ensuring that your wishes are clear and legally binding, and provides comfort and security for those you care about the most. A carefully crafted Will provides clear guidance on how your assets should be distributed, minimising potential conflicts and ensuring your wishes are honoured.

Which Solicitors are involved in Will Week?

To take advantage of this initiative, individuals are encouraged to contact any of the following supporting solicitors below. Upon meeting with one of the supporting solicitors, participants are invited to make a suggested donation of £150 for a single Will or £300 for a mirror will. These donations go directly to East Lancashire Hospice, helping them continue their vital work in providing care and support for those facing life-limiting illnesses.
