East Lancashire Hospice has been presented with the prestigious Charity Champion award at this year's Freshies. The event, organised by Fresh Perspective, took place on Friday, 21st June 2024, at the iconic Blackburn Cathedral.

East Lancashire Hospice was up against several remarkable charities, making the win even more significant. The Charity Champion Award is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and impact the hospice has made to the lives of countless individuals and families over the years. This year's event was particularly special for East Lancashire Hospice as it coincided with the celebration of their 40th anniversary.
"We are thrilled and honoured to receive the Charity Champion Award at this year's Freshies. This recognition is a tribute to the incredible team at the hospice, our volunteers, supporters, and the community who have supported us for the past 40 years,” said Nicola Hanna, director of income generation at East Lancashire Hospice.
