Early bird tickets for the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival will go on sale at 9am this Saturday, as the popular music festival returns to Colne for the 34th year.

Taking place from 22nd to 24th August 2025, a limited number of early bird full festival tickets will be on offer, priced at £100 per person, giving fans the chance to see every performance at the festival, across the main venues.

The early bird offering will give festival goers the opportunity to save £20 on a full festival ticket. There will also be a special bundle option, priced at £140, including a full festival ticket and merchandise.

Meanwhile, event organisers Colne Town Council have introduced a brand-new ticketing structure, which will allow visitors to purchase afternoon and evening session tickets only.

Afternoon session tickets are available for just £30 and will allow entry to all the main venues for the afternoon performances. Similarly, evening session tickets will provide access for all main venues during the evening, priced at £40.

Individual day tickets are also on offer, priced at £55, while those looking to make a weekend of it can plan ahead and book camping or campervan pitches at the popular Colne & Nelson Rugby Club campsite.

Artistic Directors of the festival, Colne Blues Society, are already working hard on the 2025 line-up, having already announced the likes of Beaux Gris Gris and the Apocalypse, The James Oliver Band featuring Norman Watt-Roy and The Zac Schulze Gang.

Over 30,000 people attended the 2024 Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival across the August Bank Holiday Weekend, with the festival also being recently announced as a finalist in the Large Event category at the Lancashire Tourism Awards.

An incredible weekend of live music was headlined by Kyla Brox, Dom Martin and Matt Schofield, with 13 Official Fringe venues, buskers, food vendors, a funfair, street entertainers and much, making it a weekend to remember in East Lancashire.

Nathan Cutler, Colne Town Council’s Events Officer, said: “We are delighted to launch tickets for the 2025 Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival here in Colne.

“We have listened to feedback from last year, with fans wanting an option to purchase afternoon and evening session tickets, and we are proud to have delivered that.

“The festival is one of the biggest rhythm and blues festivals in Europe and exciting plans are well underway to make our event bigger and better this year.”

Simon Shackleton, Festival Coordinator at Colne Blues Society, said: “It is exciting to be back and we can’t wait to reveal our plans with announcements to come thick and fast over the next few months.

“We have been working hard since before the 2024 festival even finished, and we are passionate about providing a fantastic weekend of live music and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.”
