Duo of deals at Carnforth industrial estate

By Robert Pinkus Co.

11 Dec 2014

A popular Carnforth industrial estate is now trading at full capacity following the recent lettings of units 4 & 5, the last two remaining units at the site.

Northern Western Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority have taken 2,044 sq ft at Unit 5 on a five year lease and a further 1,250 sq ft at Unit 4 has been taken for three years by Southey Consultants Ltd. Robert Pinkus & Co. LLP acted on behalf of the respective private landlords in the recent transactions and Robert Pinkus Property Management Ltd. (RPPM) are the appointed managing agents for Kellet Road Industrial Estate.

The new tenants join other occupiers on the popular, well-positioned estate including Checkpoint Safety, English Hardwood Design and Alltech Applied Science. The industrial estate is approximately two minutes drive from junction 35 of the M6, on the Cumbrian border between Lancaster and Kendal. Mark Harrison, surveyor at Robert Pinkus & Co. said: "We have always had a regular flow of enquiries for this particular site due to its size and the specification of the units. We are pleased to see this site operating at full capacity once again as a full site always generates a positive effect on trade within the estate and has a knock effect, providing an additional boost to the local economy."
