DT Information Governance signs the Armed Forces Covenant

DT Information Governance may be a very small business but by signing the Armed Forces Covenant we are publicly demonstrating our recognition of the community’s commitment to our country, and our commitment to support a community that we have been part of ourselves.

We have pledged to support the community in our own small way by supporting academic and vocational training, using learning methods that suit their needs, maintaining community engagement at all levels, promoting and supporting armed forces charities and fundraising, and ensuring that we allow staff to take part in remembrance and ceremonial activities where they wish to do so.

One example is the support provided to enable staff to attend a local ‘regimental dinner’ for an organisation comprising of serving and ex-members of all branches of the Armed Forces. At this dinner they remember those who are no longer with us by setting a place for them. The last dinner was led by the Parachute Regiment hence the Maroon beret.

We also attend the remembrance service locally each year, reflecting on the service and sacrifices made by members of the Community.
